ROLAND V-Drums TD-27K Electronic Drum Set (LIMITED MODEL)
The Roland TD27K is limited model for 2020 which sits between the Roland popular models TD-17KVX and TD-27KV. It features the powerful TD-27 sound module combined with playability of Roland’s renowned analog V-Pads making for a supber e-drum playin experience. The kit is also upgrade-ready for digital pad playability and expression via the module’s three digital trigger inputs.
The TD-27K kit features a PDX-100 10-inch mesh-head snare pad with support for positional sensing and rimshot/cross stick playing which is complimented by three PDX-8 8-inch mesh-head pads for rack toms and floor toms and a KD-10 kick pad for expressive playing. Completing the kits is a VH-10 V-Hi-Hat, two CY-12 12" crash cymbals and a CY-13R 13" ride cymbal.
As for sound, the TD-27 sound module, which is derived from the flagship TD-50, is packed with samples taken from the finest percussion sounds, both modern and vintage, and then treated with Roland's Prismatic Sound Modelling, bringing the sounds alive. The sound triggered respond like their true acoustic counterparts, for a sublime aural experience that encourages you to come back for more time and time again. The sounds can also be tweaked for your tonal satisfaction, change the heads, tuning, damping and more, you can even load your own samples and layer them for truly personal sounding kits!
Roland's PureAcoustic Ambience Technology creates a wonderful immersive sound experience, with the ability to adjust mic positions, adjust the overhead mic simulator. You can also add effects like reverbs, compressors, delays and more for tonal experimentation.
The TD-27 module has excellent amounts of connectivity, should you want to connect it up within a live setup or use the built in USB audio interface for studio integration and recording.
Added functionality comes via the onboard Bluetooth connectivity. Wirelessly stream music from your phone or laptop to the module to jam along with, or practice with your favourite YouTube lessons.
