Woodstone original ligature is made from copper, brass or solid silver. It combines large volume with fast response, producing a heavy yet soft tone with a long lasting sound.
The reed is fixed with two rails, and the natural vibration of the reed is utilized by separating the ligature from the reed. Strength is also increased by providing a ring in the center.
To ensure long-term use, Woodstone pays particular attention to every single screw, and the products are machined rather than cast.
