Taylor C14ce B5004 – Grand Auditorium, Torrefied Sitka Spruce/Figured Big Leaf Maple

Boasting beautifully figured Big Leaf maple back and sides paired with a torrefied spruce top, this custom cutaway Grand Auditorium delivers a rich, warm voice and distinct visual allure. Tone-enhancing V-Class bracing draws out more volume and sustain while the specially roasted top imparts a sweet, played-in tonal character, adding up to a sophisticated sound that allows each player’s technique to shine through. Visual cues include a hand-sprayed cordovan-hued stain and shaded edgeburst for the top, as well as cocobolo/transparent orange color and tiger shadow edge treatment for the back, sides and Hard Rock maple neck. A tiger-striped ebony fretboard and colorful peghead veneer, both lined with Hawaiian koa purfling, add extra vibrance to the visual aesthetic, offset by a delicately detailed single-ring rosette with a Roman Leaf inlay design in koa and ebony. A koa inlay featuring a design from our 900 Series guitars from 2001-2010 and a koa Taylor logo adorn the peghead, which is bound with Crelicam ebony to match the body, soundhole and fretboard. This custom acoustic-electric is equipped with ES2 electronics and ultra-precise Gotoh 510 antique gold tuners with koa buttons. It arrives in a brown deluxe hardshell case.
