Product Description

The NUVOBand FLUTE is approximately half the weight of a traditional flute. It is constructed from a lightweight but strong engineering polymer blended specifically for a high strength-to-weight ratio while maintaining good acoustic properties.

The embouchure hole is cut to encourage beginners but also to provide a rich and responsive tone in all registers up to intermediate level.

The NUVOBand FLUTE also features carefully positioned silicone comfort pads to ensure a secure grip to maximize comfort and good posture during practice sessions and performance.

The FLUTE is stored in the padded carrying case in 3 pieces which are oriented for easy and intuitive assembly and disassembly.

NUVOBand flute is qualified to use for ABRSM Examinations.

Headjoint
The lightweight polymer headjoint has a setting mark which can be used to make sure you set up the same for every practice session. It also features a durable stainless steel tenon which is resistant to damage if accidently dropped.
 
Versatile Lip Plate
The cut of the embouchure hole is suitable for beginning students and more advanced players, giving the FLUTE a clear and responsive tone across the full range and in all dynamics.
 
Lightweight Body
The high-grade blended engineering polymer we use for the body makes the FLUTE roughly half the weight of a traditional flute while retaining the important acoustic characteristics and durability you expect from your flute.
 
Silicone Comfort Pads
The ergonomically designed comfort pads provide a grip at the necessary positions to make holding the FLUTE comfortable and secure, so you can concentrate on your practice while maintaining good posture.
 
Long-lasting polymer springs
The flute is equipped with precision engineered springs, designed and bench tested to withstand years of use without losing strength.
 
Durable Polymer Keys
The keys are made from a high-grade blended engineering polymer which means they will not bend out of shape over time or if the flute is accidentally dropped. This makes the FLUTE more reliable and less likely to spend time in the repair shop.
 
Waterproof
The NUVOBand FLUTE is 100% waterproof so you can keep it clean with hot soapy water. You can also play in the rain or even in the shower! A pull-through micro-fiber cleaning cloth and stick is provided.
 
Ergonomic Key Layout
The FLUTE features an offset G key with extended touch pads on the G and A key to maximize comfort for long practice sessions.
 
Durable Synthetic Pads
Our unique waterproof silicone pads will always seal perfectly on the tone hole. You are unlikely to ever need to adjust them but if you ever do need to change one, they are easy to replace.
 
Stainless Steel Rods
High-grade stainless-steel rods ensures reliable performance for many years.
 
Repairs and Maintenance

If you should ever need a spare part, they are available from your local NUVOBand dealer or directly from us. Most fixes are simple and we provide instructions for all repairs. If you are unsure, your local music dealer should be able to help.
