Join us for the "Tom Lee Music Band Fest 2025"! This event is not just a competition, but a musical celebration where you can meet fellow musicians and share your passion for music. Participants will receive guidance from professional judges and have a platform to showcase their musical talents. The competition is divided into Youth Group and Open Group, welcoming everyone, whether you are a seasoned electric guitar player, a professional musician, or an amateur enthusiast. Participants also stand a chance to win exciting prizes! We look forward to your participation to make this musical event even more spectacular!

  1. Apply for a category by filling out the registration form through our web link, which should include details like team name and member list. After completing the registration, the system will send a confirmation email. Please check the email and ensure the email address is entered correctly.
  2. Before or on the specified date (June 17, 2025), upload the competition song and lyrics to the Specified link provided in the confirmation email.
  3. The file name must be specified according to the competition group number and team name.
  4. After reading and agreeing to the competition rules and terms, complete the online registration form, submit the competition details, and pay the Registration fee to complete the registration process.

Preliminary Round
Preliminary Round: All eligible participants will undergo an internal review and selection process. Those who qualify for the preliminary round will receive detailed information from Tom Lee Music regarding the event.
The preliminary round will be held in person at 11th Floor, Tower 1, Silvercord, 30 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.
*All participants must use the instruments provided by the organizers: including electric guitar/bass amplifiers, keyboards, and drum kits.
*Participants required to bring their own guitars, snare drums, and cymbals for the competition.
*The power supply available on-site is a 220V British three-pin socket.
Final Rounddetails to be announced

  1. Each team must consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7 members, all of whom must meet the eligibility criteria.
  2. Participants of any nationality are welcome to join.
  3. Teams must agree to and comply with all terms, conditions, and rules of the competition. Failure to do so may result in suspension or disqualification by the organizers, without any right to contest.
  4. If any team member is found ineligible, the entire team will be disqualified.
  5. All competition entries, including preliminary and final rounds, must be performed by registered members of eligible teams. Members may only represent one team and cannot participate in multiple teams.
  6. Any changes in team members must be immediately reported to the organizers. The identities of all members of the winning teams will be verified before the award ceremony.
  7. Each group is limited to one song only, and changes are not allowed. The competition song can be either an adaptation or an original composition.
  8. The final decision on competition results rests with the organizers and will be published on the competition website.
  9. Participants must use instruments from specified brands: Fender, Charvel, Edwards, ESP, EVH, Godin, GrassRoots, Gretsch, Ibanez, Jackson, MusicMan, PRS, Strandberg, VOX, Yamaha.
  10. The performer of the entry song must be a registered team member.
  11. Entry songs must not be used for commercial purposes.
  12. Songs must be recorded without editing, effects, or computer post-production; recordings must capture the original sound of the instruments.
  13. Songs must not include content that is obscene, obscene language, violent, pornographic, defamatory, offensive, insulting, or controversial.
  14. Songs must not contain commercial promotion or political elements.
  15. The organizers reserve the right to reject inappropriate entries or those unrelated to the theme or incorrectly formatted.
  16. The organizers have the authority to disqualify entries that violate rules.
  17. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  18. The organizers have the right to use images and information of all participants for public promotion purposes.
  19. Submission of the online registration form indicates agreement to comply with the rules of "Tom Lee Band Fest 2025."
  20. Once submitted, registration forms and videos cannot be altered.
  21. All winners will automatically become ambassadors for Tom Lee Music and must attend the finals held at Tom Lee Music (details to be determined).
  22. The organizers reserve the right to change event details without prior notice. All information will be published on Tom Lee Music’s official website and social media platforms.
  23. In case of any disputes, the organizers retain the final interpretation and decision rights, which cannot be contested by any party.
