The Alhambra 5P from Alhambra Guitars. The soundboard of this Spanish classical guitar is a major influence on the full-bodied, warm and rich sound this instrument produces. It consists of a thin piece of softwood that is supported by 7 braces, with 2 harmonic bars at the bottom. The qualities of the woods used include a close grain count and high stiffness to mass ratio, which allow maximum output for the minimum input, and contribute to its resilience, light weight and resonance. Beautifully hand-made in Spain, with an inlaid wooden rosette, this guitar is the perfect example of the love the Alhambra guitar makers have for their craft.
