C.F. Martin from the U.S.A.

C.F. Martin started in 1833, the "C.F. Martin" logo on the headstock of each guitar is the initials of the founder, German luthier Christian Frederick Martin. The X-bracing was introduced in the 1840s and led to the foundation for Martin's guitar. Two crossed, X-shaped wooden bars were pasted under the panel, strengthening the tension of the panel and obtaining bright clear highs and thick bass.

TWO CENTURIES OF HISTORY
